Here are the several features of NEW! OS which you need to know before you make the switch:
Windows Media Centre: One of the biggest cut from Microsoft , windows Media Center will be removed.
Separate software for playing DVDs: This is bad news for those who have long relied on playing DVDs through the Windows Media Centre. With that being removed in the first place, need to have a separate playback software for DVDs.
Windows 7 desktop gadgets: This has been removed to Windows 10.
Windows updates availability: Users having Windows 10 Home version will have the updates automatically available. Those running Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise will have the ability to defer updates.
Removed classic games : Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Hearts Games that come pre-installed on Windows 7 will be removed as part of installing the Windows 10 upgrade.
USB floppy drive: You will need to download the latest driver from Windows Update or from the manufacturer's website for USB floppy drive.
Windows Live Essentials: If you have this installed on your system, the OneDrive app will be removed and replaced with an inbox version of the cloud storage.
